Given recent media and confusion, Safe Schools Coalition Australia (SSCA) seeks to make a clarification. SSCA was not consulted on the recent campaign to seek a change in approach to funding.

SSCA is committed to ensuring that the legacy of the program's important work lives on following the cessation of federal funding. SSCA is working with representatives and organisations associated with the program to this end.

SSCA delivers approved support and resources to educators to equip them with the knowledge and skills to create safer and more inclusive school environments for LGBTI young people.
